The flywheel was machined from a piece of steel pipe I had lying about. The middle part is 3mm plate. I machined one half of the inside of the pipe a slightly larger diameter so the centre plate could be pushed in hard up against a shoulder to ensure it was flat. The shaft is from an old printer.
